On September 16, 2025, Bakırköy Municipality organized the “Accessible Life Workshop” with the aim of identifying shortcomings regarding individuals with disabilities in the district and developing solutions to remove barriers. The workshop addressed the issues under five thematic areas. Bakırköy Mayor Assoc. Thanks to collaborations of IKU ArClub (Alumni Relations) and IKU Awareness Club, an event was held on Wednesday, May 11, within the scope of 10-16 May Disability Awareness Week. Disability researcher from Erişilebilir Her Şey platform Ilgın Aydınoğlu and Kemal Koçak who is lecturer and  specialist psychologist and our 2013 alumni from deparment of Psychology had attended as speakers. Event took about two and half hours.

Awareness talk titled "I Succeeded" was held on Monday, March 7, 2022, within the scope of "March 8 International Women's Day", in cooperation with IKU Awareness Club and 118-T Sarıyer Leo Club. Lawyer Tuba Turan, who participated in the event as a speaker; she emphasized how she chose her profession, her acceptance to her close circle and the importance of collective work with her own life story. Hatice Nur Uzgenç shared the founding of GÜÇKADER with her family and working life.
