Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Young Office participated in the "World Volunteers Day" event organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at Ataköy International Youth Center as part of "December 3 World Disabled Awareness Day" and "December 5 World Volunteering Day".

Ömür Kınay Alkan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Disabled Student Unit & Academic Advisor of the IKU Awareness Club, also took part as a speaker at the event, which was organized to discuss the problems faced by disabled people in social, economic and political aspects, and to discuss the planned works to be done against them, and to raise awareness about their implementation.

The importance of disability awareness and volunteering was emphasized at the event organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Istanbul Provincial Director Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Hacıcaferoğlu and IKU Board of Trustees Communication Consultant Lecturer Hülya Aydın.
