Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Young Office participated in the "World Volunteers Day" event organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at Ataköy International Youth Center as part of "December 3 World Disabled Awareness Day" and "December 5 World Volunteering Day".

Ömür Kınay Alkan, one of our academics of the Department of Communication and Design & one of the members of the board of the Disabled Students Unit, was a speaker with Prof. Dr. Haluk Eyidoğan from ITU Geophysics Engineering and Environmental Engineer Cevahir Efe Akçelik from TMMOB Istanbul Provincial Coordination Board at the panel organized by the Chamber of Geophysical Engineers (JFMO) Istanbul Branch on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 18:30.

In order to draw attention to the upcoming Great Istanbul Earthquake and to commemorate August 17th 1999, a video was prepared by the Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya and the words of Ömür Kınay Alkan, one of our academics of the Department of Communication and Design & one of the members of the board of the Disabled Students Unit.
